Dawlish Warren: Photo Diary

When my boyfriend was younger he used to go to a place in Devon called Dawlish Warren every year. So when I met him four and half years ago he has taken me every year since, this year we went with my best friend and her boyfriend, have a gander at the pictures (there’s a lot)!

So Dawlish Warren itself is actually really small, there are plenty of places to stay though and a little fairground in which we played mini golf (I came last -__-) as well as amusements and pubs! But there is a long path that is right along the beach that you can walk on to get to Dawlish town.

Dawlish town is the cutest little place I have EVER been to, honestly it’s so pretty and is home to lots of Black Swans. But the main attraction (for me) is an ice cream shop called Gay’s Creamery, whoah If you ever go to Dawlish don’t bother getting an Ice cream from anywhere else. I didn’t get a photo of one annoyingly.

One of the days we took a trip to Torquay which is just a short ride on the train and the weather was bloody gorgeous – which made for good pictures!

And lastly, on the way home we visited a place called Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. Quick disclaimer here, I don’t necessarily agree with zoo’s especially at this one, when we got there the tiger and lion enclosures were way too small In my opinion.

Where are your favourite places to go for a weekend away?
