My full skin care routine and the products I swear by..
First of all, it’s worth noting I have very oily skin with some dry patches so the products will cater to that skin type but the brands I use make other products for other skin concerns so it might be worth checking those out if you have a different skin type to me.
So the products featured in the photo above are the products I use on a daily basis. In the morning I use the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel to cleanse my face, followed by the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Clarifying Lotion applied with cotton pad to tone.
I then moisturise using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar K [+] Daily Moisturiser which doubles as a perfect base for foundation, I tap the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Eye Cream all over the eye area and finish with a lip balm/butter on my lips, at the moment I’m using a Nivea one.
At night, I take off my makeup using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for combination to oily skin, then repeat my morning routine.
On top of my usual routine about twice a week I use the Garnier Skin Active Pure Active 3-in-1 as a scrub to remove any dead skin cells, I also use this a face mask about twice a week too.
If my skin is really suffering and needs some tlc (especially after a night out) I’ll use my Dermalogica Sebum Clearing Masque, this really clears out my pores and reduces any redness.
I didn’t go in to detail about any of the products because there’s that many this would be quite the lengthy post! But I obviously recommend every single one of these as I use them everyday.
I really struggled with getting a skin care routine for years to keep my oily skin under control but now I’m super happy with the results these products give. If I could recommend just one brand to everyone for skincare it would be La Roche-Posay, they have so many different ranges and products to suit all skin types so It’s worth checking them out.
I used to have really bad breakouts but now I barely have any thanks to these products and If I do they go pretty quickly (as long as I refrain from picking them) but along with your skin care routine make sure you’re drinking plenty of water! I’m not joking it really does make such a big difference to your overall look. Drink your 2 litres a day for a week and see the difference!
