I’ve narrowed down my absolute make-up essentials, now you might see some missing but this is more like particular products that I can’t live without. For example mascara is obviously an essential for me but there’s a few different ones/brands, or lipsticks there’s a few of those I use on the regular so it would be silly to include all of them. These are items that nothing comes close to in my eyes within that category. So let’s get stuck in!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light
My absolute holy grail foundation – I literally wear this every single day! I have combination to oily skin but this lasts all day and doesn’t cling to any dry patches. It’s a more pricey foundation but as cliché as it sounds, a little really does go a long way – it lasts for months. They have 9 different shades altogether I’m 0.5 (this blog isn’t called my p a l e trend for no reason!) and I honestly can’t recommend this enough, it gives a natural finish yet extremely buildable! Find it here.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
I mean there’s nothing I can really say about this that hasn’t already been said, It’s literally the best drugstore concealer there is. I can’t see myself straying away from this any time soon, the coverage is insane and it’s super blendable! Find it here.
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow In On And On Bronze
Another item I use religiously every day! Because I’m pale my eyelids can look quite vainy so this acts as the perfect base. It also helps intensify any shadows you put on top. For every day I only wear this and liner on my eyelids and it just makes me look ‘put together’ – perfect to make your blue eyes sparkle! Find it here.
Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush
Eurgh, brows are really not my strong point, mine are so thin and sparse! But this pencil is so tiny, you can create hair like strokes for a natural looking full brow. It lasts all day and so easy to use – foolproof! Find it here.
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner
THE.BEST.LINER. I have tried sooo many liners and nothing even comes close to this within this price range. Pencil liner just transfers on my oily lids and I can’t use liquid liner – it takes to long and it’s so much harder to use! But this, oh my. It.does.not.budge. it’s extremely easy to apply and literally glides on the skin like a dream. (I recommend using it with the Real Techniques liner brush rather than the one it comes with). The colour is so pretty, I use the brown shade simply because black looks to harsh on my pale skin (have I mentioned I’m pale?) and it really does flatter my eye colour lovely! Find it here.
