January Faves

All the things I’ve been loving in January!

Denim Cropped Jacket With Borg Lining

I’ve been living in this jacket, I’m officially obsessed! I’ve tried these on a few times whilst shopping and I just didn’t think they flattered me very well and I couldn’t understand why – I realllllly wanted one god damn it! Then I found this in the Asos sale and I figured out why! Cropped, I needed a cropped one. And because I only ever wear high-waisted jeans they really worked well together. Not only does it looks great, its bloody warm too thanks to that borg lining. Find it here.

H&M Sock Boots

I’ve had my eyes on these for agggggges, not going to lie I was kind of hoping to get these for Christmas (cry cry) BUT they went into the sale on H&M and I mean, it’s a no brainer really. When they arrived I wasn’t disappointed – the dream boot. So so flattering, also I was surprised by the heel It’s definitely bigger than my usual daytime heel but I was expecting it to be bigger – no complaints here though they still look gorgeous! I’m loving zips up the back of boots lately. Find them here.

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream In Cannes

This is by no means a new find for me but I did have a little break from it and came back to it recently and rekindled my love for it. It’s long-lasting and when it does eventually fade, it fades really evenly so you’re not left with just a line around your lips. The only complaint I have about this is that it does dry out my lips a little, but in all fairness what matte liquid lipstick doesn’t? Find it here.

L’Oreal False Lash Sculpt Mascara

As an avid user of the Maybelline Lash Sensational (which is also great by the way) for so long I felt it was time to try something new. I saw a lot of people using this on YouTube so I thought I’d try it, when I first got it I wasn’t sure on the brush, but It does wonders! I will say this can get messy as it also tight lines as you do your lashes. With every new mascara I find wiping off the excess before you use it really helps with clump free lashes. I actually prefer this to the Maybelline one simply because it holds a curl! My lashes are so long no mascara can hold them up like this one can. Find it here.

Stranger Things

I know, I know I’m late on the bandwagon with this but my god it’s good. We pretty much watched it in one sitting. I’m sure you’ve already seen this but if you haven’t, don’t put it off any longer – get watching! I can’t fault any of the actors and actresses in this, I was literally glued to the screen from beginning to end of every single episode. We started watching it a few days after I bought that borg denim jacket and I realised that everyone wore them in it so now every time I wear it I feel like an 80’s throwback especially paired with my high-waisted jeans! It’s streamed on Netflix only.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel

I’ve been using this for well over a year now I would say BUT it has new packaging! It used to be in a tube and I could never get the last bit out when it was coming to an end. They’ve bought this new packaging out with a handy pump (yay), the tube was £11.00 for 200ml this pump is £15.00 for 400ml so yeah it works out a hell of a lot better. So far though I’ve only spotted this In-store in Boots, as far as I’m aware it’s not available anywhere else yet but you can find the tube version online still here.

What have you been loving this month?
